Wherever I Am, There’s a Best Western

My job is everything. Ok, my family is everything. But right behind that is my career. Unless my wife isn’t reading this, then my job is everything.

As a guy who’s on the road as much as 100 days a year or more, having access to the hotel of my choice is essential. It’s not just about a clean and comfortable room for me, it’s being conveniently located to where I need to do business. Plus, it creates a sense of confidence and security for me knowing that my needs will be met.

Fortunately, Best Western Hotels & Resorts’ global hotel footprint means I’m always able to find a hotel wherever I am in the world. Sure, I’ve stayed at hotels all throughout the United States, but when I’m in other countries, it’s great to know I can stay with a brand that I feel confident in, while also collecting those great Best Western Rewards loyalty benefits. That way I can take my family to cool places too when we’re ready for some time off.

In fact, I’ve stayed in Best Western-branded hotels in Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Holland and Spain. Oh yeah, even though it’s Best Western, I’ve stayed with them in the Far East too, in places such as Beijing, Shanghai, and even Mongolia. That’s right, there’s even a Best Western Premier in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, and it’s in the best location in that country’s capital city. Wow. In all, Best Western is represented in more than 100 countries with more than 4,200 hotels.

During the last few years, the company has been debuting many new brands that focus on various styles, stay experiences and personalities.  That means you don’t have to stay at a Best Western to be staying with Best Western and earn those great rewards. The company has many brands such as Vīb, GLō, Executive Residency by Best Western, BW Premier Collection; SureStay, SureStay Plus and SureStay Signature Collection. And that doesn’t even count the legacy Best Western brand and its Best Western Plus and Best Western Premier offshoots.

And expect more hotels in the future coming to a city near you, or one you’re wanting to visit yourself! According to Lodging Econometrics, a company that tracks every single hotel project in the entire world shows there are 324 more hotels actively under development as well as 70 more announced during the first three months of 2018. I can sense that new hotel smell right now.

Overall, it’s great to know I can concentrate on managing my business rather than worrying where I need to sleep every night. That’s true for every city I’m in here in North America, and even when I get back to a far-flung place such as Mongolia.
