After a quick stop at the hotel to change out of your hiking clothes, head to the Whiteaker neighborhood. Known as “The Whit” to locals, this formally industrial part of town has become an eccentric hub of small shops, art galleries and eateries.

12:30 – Stop by Wandering Goat Coffee Co. for a caffeine boost

In need of a pick-me-up after all this walking? Visit one of Eugene’s coffee roasters, the Wandering Goat Coffee Co., for locally sourced goodies.

13:00 – Grab lunch at Nelson’s Taqueria

20:00 – Sneak a late-night snack at Voodoo Doughnut

If you’re craving something sweet after leaving Provisions, stop by the Eugene outpost of Voodoo Doughnut for a late night, cereal-covered snack.  Not a doughnut person? You’re sure to find something at Sweet Life Patisserie which serves up eight special desserts every month, ranging from cheesecakes to cupcakes to pies.

33:00 – Explore the University of Oregon

The University of Oregon might be known for their sports programs, but the campus is also home to beautiful architecture and world class museums. Spend your morning discovering art from around the world at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art. Afterwards, stop by the Eugene Pioneer Cemetery for a self-guided tour or to the university’s Museum of Natural History to explore the archaeology, geology and folklife of Oregon.

38:00 – Lunch at Falling Sky Pizzeria & Public House  

Falling Sky is a staple on the University of Oregon campus thanks to their homemade breads, condiments and pickles. They also have a range of tasty sandwiches and vegan options, as well.
